Every year REC Roofing gives away a FREE roof to a veteran in need in Dallas/Fort Worth and Tyler/East Texas. It's our way of saying thank you for your service.

Every year on Veterans Day we announce the winner, and we are always accepting entries. If you or someone you know wants to enter, tell us your story here.
How to qualify
This giveaway is only for Veterans who have served in the military, so whether it's you, or someone you know; that person must be able to show proof.
Do You Need a Roof Replacement—or Just a Repair?
Not every roof needs a full tear-off. If a durable repair solves it safely, we’ll recommend that first. Consider roof replacement when you notice:

Widespread shingle loss, curling, or heavy granule shedding

Recurring leaks, soft decking, or sagging

Hail/wind damage across multiple slopes

15–25+ year shingle age or patchwork repairs everywhere

How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes finish in 1–2 days, weather permitting.
Do you offer impact-resistant shingles?
Yes—Class 3/4 options to better handle North Texas hail (ask about potential insurance discounts).
Will you check my ventilation and flashing?
Absolutely—proper ventilation and correctly installed flashing are standard parts of our replacement scope.
Can you help with documentation if my roof was storm-damaged?
Yes—our adjuster-led team provides robust photo/video documentation and a contractor estimate. (We do not act as public adjusters.)
